Halloween was SO fun this year!  The girls were way into pumpkin carving and trick-or-treating.  And selfishly, we just LOVE getting to do all of the fun Halloweeny stuff we did as kids, all over again!

So, here we go…up first, pumpkin carving!

BLOG Halloween-1

Every year, Cate’s favorite part is putting the pieces back in the pumpkin.  Although this year she did actually touch all of the “squishy stuff” in the pumpkin….Anna, not so much. 🙂

Up next, trick-or-treating, of course! Cate was a “witch” and Anna was a “pumpkin”.  As usual, they decided on their costumes a while ago and never wavered.  Cate loved passing out candy!  She wanted “wild witch hair”, so I did a trick that my mom did with my hair when I was little…lots of little braids on wet hair, let dry, and wiiiiiild hair! (We used to call it Stevie Nicks hair).

Our sweet little pumpkin.

I did not take into account my big girl’s slight fear of the wind (for real) with this costume.  It took just one time for the wind to threaten to blow her witch hat up into the air before she decided she’d “better not wear that hat!”.  🙂

BLOG Halloween-4

The girls had so much fun trick-or-treating with cousins Lily the Cowgirl and Charlie the Lion!

BLOG Halloween-2

Nana and Papa had fun with all of the kids too!

That pumpkin bucket is tooooootally hiding my big belly, right?

Hope you had a Happy Halloween too!!
