I’ve been friends with these 4 girls for ever. Two I met in high school and the other two in College. We are the best of friends, though we live in different cities, I must say, we do a really good job of keeping in touch. However, we’ve never, all 5 of us, taken a “trip” all together. So, last month we did it! We took Chicago! 🙂
I can hardly express my love and respect for all of these girls. They have helped me to be the person I am today, they make me laugh, they never judge, they are always always there for me, I can totally and completely just be myself around them. I love them all, dearly.
Among the talking, laughing and drinking…we did a few touristy things too… This is the “Bean” at Millennium Park.
Navy Pier. And yes, we were complete dorks about getting photos together. 🙂
The Herbie Hancock Building.
And may I just break to tell you that all of these images were captured with this little daddy. We got this camera for Christmas and I hadn’t really had time to play with it much, other than the HD Video, which it does very well. I was SO glad I brought this little camera! It was easy to take places and I didn’t have to, ah-hem, obsess over every picture (which I tend to do with my good camera). 🙂 Aaaaand I am super excited about the quality of the photos! So, if you’re looking for a nice point and shoot, look here! 🙂
Okay, back to Chicago…This awesome water fountain…(What was it called, Em?) that we had to cross the Puerto Rician parade to see, but totally worth it! 🙂
Random Me picts…
Oh! We got to see Second City! It was AWESOME!! Go to Chicago. See Second City!
We enjoyed a little, okay a lot, of nightlife.
Love love love these girls.
And I should also thank all of our amazing hubbies who stayed at home, doing fabulous daddy things, while us girls got to play for the weekend. 🙂 2013 is our next trip…I can hardly wait! 🙂
